actions. On the other hand that democracy is our biggest enemy.

have peacable names like Counsel on American-Islamic Relations, Palestine

held Americans hostage?

in Muslim country who agrees to pay the Jizya in exchange for protection
and subject to Islamic law. Permanent covenant. Not
regarded as citizens although they may be natives to the country.
§ Hudna
(Truce): Those who sign a peace treaty with Muslims
after being defeated in war. Voluntarily subject Islamic
law w/o war.
§ Musta’min
(Protected one): Those who come to an Islamic country
as messengers, merchants, visitors or students wanting to learn
about Islam. Does not pay Jizya, cannot be hurt in any
way. If they don’t convert, they are allowed to return
to their country.
o Sharia Law does not separate
politics from religion.
o Generations of teaching “Ethnocentrism” Each person
views the world in the light of his own experience.

o 1915 Wealthy,
powerful Christians in UK at that time felt that Christ would come when
Israel became a nation.
o Balfore Declaration-
Divided land between Arabs (85%) and Jews (15%) according to % of occupancy. Through
lobbying, enforcement delayed until 1948.
o Moves to repatriate Jews
into Israel so the balance or percentage of inhabitants changed
dramatically so the percentages of Jews would be higher and a larger
portion of the land would go back to the Jews. If it were done
in 1915, 85% of the land would have gone to the Arabs
o 1916 division of lands in
such a way that any single Arab state wan unable to pose a derious
threat to the colonial powers in the region.
o UK and US instrumental in reallocating
land belonging to ‘native dwellers’, dividing land in such
a way as to divide the factions and political powers. At least
15 treaties or agreements that were not honored, or were implemented
later to be advantageous to the Jews.
